it was amazing
bookshelves: fantasy, read-in-2011
Read in September, 2011

I'm not pleased with all of GRRM's choices ((view spoiler)? What seemed like excessive time spent on Meereen?) but he keeps me coming back. The plot continues to thicken, and it's a treat to see the interaction of characters that have previously stuck to their own storylines.

Favorite character: Davos Seaworth. Jaime (although he only had one chapter--can't wait to see what happens between him and Brienne). Asha Greyjoy.

Character I expected more from but I still adore: Tyrion.

Character I hate: Ramsey Bolton has supplanted Cersei and Theon (who I find I can't hate anymore, but that doesn't mean I like him).

Most epic moment (aka moment that made me squeal like a little girl): Dany (view spoiler). Also, (view spoiler) That last had very little to do with plot, but it was a wonderful little detail.
