Sharp Teeth is a novel written in free verse about modern werewolves living L.A. I liked it, but the whole time I was reading it I kept thinking that the text could have all been formatted as a traditional novel. The text could be described as elegant and lyrical, and has a nice flow; but it would have retained those qualities without the verse format.

I could see this appealing to people who don't normally enjoy reading, because the cover image is cool, and it's easy to read.
