This is a first reads book.

This is the first book that I have read by Ellen Hopkins and I was surprised when I opened this book.I'm not poetry fan so I was hesitant but I found it interesting. I really enjoyed her writing. She has a way with words. This book is entertaining and following the lives of three woman kept me wondering how they were going to deal with their problems and the situations they got themselves into. I loved reading about Andrea and Marissa but Holly, while I understood her dilemma I found her ungrateful, selfish, and self absorbed. But she made for an entertaining character. There was a lesson in her story but I don't think she learned from it. All in all, great stories and a great read.
