it was amazing
bookshelves: nonfiction, psychology

For the psychology/neuroscience geeks in the room. Essentially, a really well explained, civilian-friendly look at the cutting edge understanding of what emotions are (hint: probably not what you think), how we develop them, and the implications for everything from child rearing to the criminal justice system to pet ownership. As a certifiable psych/neuro geek, I ate it right the heck up and learned all kinds of amazing things.
