it was amazing
bookshelves: non-fiction, ebook, own, read2011, amazeballs

Just, wow. I am not usually a reader of non-fiction, and have always steered away from true crime, but this was a must read for me. I was 6 months out of high school when this happened, and it struck a chord.

The book draws on mountains of interviews, articles and evidence, and presents a very easy to read narrative that is near impossible to put down. Parts had me in tears. I cannot imagine how those directly affected by the events deal with it every day. The stories of survivors such as Patrick Ireland are moving and inspirational. The insight into Eric and Dylan is chilling, but also heartbreaking.

Not an emotionally easy read, but very worthwhile.
