really liked it
bookshelves: fiction, thriller, espionage

This is the first book in this series that I have read (also happens to be the latest in the series). I will be starting from the beginning. I have really enjoyed DeMille in the past and was not disappointed in this. The story is of John Corey, retired NYPD officer currently on contract with the Anti-Terrorist Task Force composed of FBI and NYPD in NYC. This story brings back a terrorist assassin from a previous book. The action covers the full spectrum from engagement while skydiving (something his wife got him to do) to the final encounter between the two at the WTC site. John Corey, if you are not familiar with the series, is smart-ass and keeps himself on the light side regardless (at least tries to). A very good read and highly recommended.
