Published in 1977, this collection of short stories by Anne McCaffrey is a mixed bag. Some left me cold, wondering if she was still honing her skills when she wrote them. Others knocked me over.

Two good stories with tie-ins to two of her best-selling series were, “The Smallest Dragonboy” set on Pern, and “Honeymoon” which features Helva (“The Ship Who Sang”).

Worth reading once if you can find one at a good price (at a used bookstore?).
