really liked it
bookshelves: ya-paranormal-good, fey, kickass-heroine, love-love-love, on-my-shelf

I loved this portrayal of faeries; their mischeif and cunning. I loved the books focus on themes such as ones True Name and riddles. I wish more detail would have been given on their activites and things. It was really too short a book for me to be properly satisfied, but hey at least there's a sequal.

The main character, Kaye, is a good'un. yeah, thas how I roll. She's smart, brave, flirty, weird and (view spoiler). She's not a mary-sue and she could have easily been made into one so this makes me happy!

Roiben is awesome, but we don't really get to know know him, just flashes, y'know.

In my opinion the book took a while to get into a good writing style-the first chapter was pretty crappily written and I got pretty lost/confused, you name it. But after that no problemo.

Actual rating from me is a 3.5 but hey, feeling generous and I did like it.

EDIT: Oh and our UK version is so much nicer! It's shiny and has suuuuch a pwetty cover. Both of them; the matching Tithe and Ironside. Luuurve it.
