Oh, how I loved this bk as a kid. I think I might've even read it 3 times. As an adult (or is it as a dolt?), I doubt that it wd appeal to me much anymore. Why did I like it so much then? I think I 1st read it when I was 9. It was probably the most complex novel I'd read by then so I'm sure that that was a big part of it.
