3.5 StarsIn this follow up story to Dangerous Ground we find Taylor and Will a month later together but working on their relationship. Taylor seems more committed to it than Will as he appears to waffle a bit on the question of would he have preferred to have kept their relationship a friendship. Will reunites with his ex Bradley to work on a case. Will apparently feels that Bradley is his perfect match and if Taylor hadn't gotten shot he would still be with Bradley. This really makes it seem that Will & Taylor are not held together by much and both characters together come across a little flat. In the meantime, Will & Taylor separate professionally as they both work with different partners. Also a series of incidents seem to connect to Taylor's past. The writing is fine as usual even with some confusing head hopping, but this follow up feels slight and more like an episode of a TV show. The case is resolved, Will & Taylor humorously & amorously reconnects and the credit rolls.

Christy T Oh I bought this one the other day and for some reason just haven't been able to pull it up to read....can't wait to see how you like it. Maybe it will motivate me to pull it up :)

Yvonne It's one of my challenge books for this month. Challenges are good motivators & get me to read books I've been putting off like this one.
