The entire premise of the series is insane, the main character and her love interest aren't particularly likable, and the writing is repetitive. And yet. As always, Cabot manages to draw the reader in. The secondary characters are drawn well. There were some surprises along the way in the trilogy, but an awful lot was also pretty predictable. In short--an enjoyable enough read and a decent way to spend a Friday evening.
