really liked it

This book won't be for everyone, but for the sappy romantic like me, it was so good. Be warned, the book jacket of the hardcover pretty much gives away the ending, but that didn't make me love it any less - and in some ways, it was how I might have needed it to go since this story involves 2 concurrent love stories with the single protagonist and I generally have a difficult time with those storylines. However, I loved Lucy's (the protagonist) honesty and her journey that offers a touching perspective on choices we make in life. There is no perfect road.

Carolyn How does the cover give it away? Do you mean the "two lives, once choice?" Just finished it this morning!

Janet Rundquist Maybe since they for sure ended up together in the end? (wait, only sort of, right? It's a little fuzzy to me right now.) The cover has the couple together, not separated.

Carolyn She was always with one guy or the other so it could be the wild fire, Gabe, or the hearth fire, Darren.
