I was so intrigued about a story told from the POV of a little girl so I had to read this. And it did not disappoint. It was so fun to step into Anna's head and experience life through a 5-year-old's view. Even if it was at such a rough time.

The ending when the Alex and Anna are 10 years older was the perfect ending that made me tear up a little.

I think this book also helps to show that children aren't doing what we think they are or they aren't thinking what we think they are. Super psychological there, but super interesting.
