Opening line:
"The theater was nearly empty."

Elizabeth's life changes dramatically when her mom drags her to the theater to watch Matthew McFadyen as Mr. Darcy. She vows to find her own Mr. Darcy.
Six years later she's still discarding potential suitors because they just aren't "Darcy" enough. Finally, her roommate and friend has had enough and dares Elizabeth to give the next guy ten dates before she dumps him. That guy ends up being Chad, the nicest, kindest and funniest guy she could date. But she's not interested, really. Well, maybe. But then the local bookstore owner walks into her bank where she works as a teller and he IS Darcy enough. Dark, brooding and surly, he's just what she's been looking for. But she still has a few dates with Chad. What's a girl to do?
I enjoyed the characters. I also enjoyed wondering how Elizabeth was going to work out her dream and still be happy.

Good, clean, romantic book.
