it was amazing
bookshelves: cultures, family, fun, friendship, love, motivation, multicultural, pronouns, adjectives, math

This book was beautiful. I was happy when they finally got the chair and I'm sure students will react with the same happiness. This book could be used for math. The little girl in the story counted her coins every night. She actually went to trade it into the bank and was given dollars. That would be a great thing for the children to see, exchanging coins for dollars. There could be practice with that for a treasure chest or something if you gave out cash and coins. Students would get change back and be able to exchange it with friends or "the store".
