My first P.D. James. And if I live long enough to read all the stuff I want to read - I'll certainly take off down her long list of books. Such a cerebral, dark, multi-cornered writer.

This is evidently one of a series involving detective Adam Dalgliesh who has spent some time at this religious school during his childhood. He revels a bit to us. He also brushes against a romance. All while figuring out a complicated murder involving sex, greed and religion. Such a nifty combination.
