This is not a murder mystery as it states. The murder mystery is some kind of bizarre background to this smoke and mirrors tale. This is more of an I am angry to be an Indian story. The murder mystery, what there is of it, is the background to a virtual race riot that breaks out among the Indian and the white community. This only survived going from a three star to the drop of a two star by virtue of the authors writing skills. I did like the authors writing skill but this book seems to lack direction of any sort. And some of the, I guess you would call them visions, pop up and direct the reader into some kind of weird smoke world right in the middle of the story. Be warned the synopsis that is written next to the book image does not fit. Not something I would recommend to my friends.
