I enjoyed this romantic suspense debut by Trish Milburn. The story is set in Nashville but has nothing to do with the country music industry whatsoever. A murderer is on the loose, killing beautiful blondes, and leaving a chocolate kiss on their lips. A cop who doesn't trust and a reporter who will stop at nothing to find the truth collide head-on. From there it's suspense and romance all the way to the end. Ms. Milburn includes all the elements for the making of a really well-plotted romantic suspense. The characters are dynamic, the villain doesn't jump out and make his presence known right-off-the-bat, the secondary cast makes a fine addition, and the cop lives on a boat which adds to the romance. An easy, fast, and enjoyable book to read.
