really liked it
bookshelves: fiction, dystopian
Read from December 31, 2011 to January 05, 2012

The book was really clever. A great idea executed rather well, if not a bit predictable. The themes were obvious - real vs cyber, corporate vs individual, the outsider vs. society - but the premise was so original and richly detailed that it made the rather mundane underlying of the plot and themes both bearable and enjoyable.

My only complaint really is that the middle lags a bit and suffers from chapter upon chapter of over indulgence in describing the technology and gadgets.
