This book is very, very good. The David Bowie movie from the 70's is very, very bad. I read this book in only a few hours in anticipation of going to see a remastered theatrical showing of the movie. I'm glad I read it, because it truly is a classic of its genre. But I'm mad that I wasted 2 1/2 hours of my life watching the horrible, convoluted, poorly executed movie that spawned from it. Just goes to show you the book is always better than the movie.
