really liked it

A solid adaptation of the classic novel. I would have liked it better if it had retained more of Melville's philosophical musings -- for example, in the "Quarterdeck" section there is a conspicuous absence of Ahab's "pasteboard mask" speech, and existential horrors embedded in "The Whiteness of the Whale" are nowhere to be found -- but that would make this a much longer narrative. Still, I'm waiting for an adapter who will not only take on the action, but the philosophical adventures embedded in Melville's original narrative.
