it was amazing

“One of the truly bad effects of religion is that it teaches us that it is a virtue to be satisfied with not understanding.”

Richard Dawkins
“Let children learn about different faiths, let them notice their incompatibility, and let them draw their own conclusions about the consequences of that incompatibility. As for whether they are ‘valid,’ let them make up their own minds when they are old enough to do so.”
Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

Richard Dawkins
“A child is not a Christian child, not a Muslim child, but a child of Christian parents or a child of Muslim parents. This latter nomenclature, by the way, would be an excellent piece of consciousness-raising for the children themselves. A child who is told she is a 'child of Muslim parents' will immediately realize that religion is something for her to choose -or reject- when she becomes old enough to do so.”
Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

Richard Dawkins
“Indeed, organizing atheists has been compared to herding cats, because they tend to think independently and will not conform to authority. But a good first step would be to build up a critical mass of those willing to 'come out,' thereby encouraging others to do so. Even if they can't be herded, cats in sufficient numbers can make a lot of noise and they cannot be ignored.”
Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

Richard Dawkins
“Do not indoctrinate your children. Teach them how to think for themselves, how to evaluate evidence, and how to disagree with you.”
Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

Nikseldon There's a very good explanation in this article as to why most suicide bombers are arabs and it apparently has a little less to do with religion than Dawkins leads us to believe. According to this article the willingness to die for a cause is more tightly related to a shortness of... women :)

Anda T. Asta e doar o ipoteza. Nu vad nici un studiu citat acolo:) si are o fraza: "The other key ingredient is the promise of 72 virgins waiting in heaven for any martyr in Islam". RELIGION! :))
