really liked it
bookshelves: psychological-suspense, best-of-2018

This is a psychological suspense thriller that leaves you thinking, "What the hell did I just read?" and you may have a few questions about the various twists and turns that abound in this page-turner.

Friends had read this before I got around to it so I knew I had to pay attention but I swear there were times I wanted a whiteboard to keep track of who was who, who was and wasn't real, and some of the lies I suspected Amber of creating. All in all, this kept my interest but I was left scratching my head over a few ambiguous developments.

Add this title to the plethora of excellent thrillers coming out in winter 2018 including The Woman in the Window and The Wife Between Us.

Thanks to the publisher for the advance reading copy.
