This collection is really lovely. My daughter would always choose Mog books if she saw them at the library so we got her this collection on her 4th birthday, and at 6 she still loves them, but now she can easily read them to herself. Mog is the much loved pet of the Thomas family, and Judith Kerr has a wonderful way of getting into the mind of this rather neurotic, hugely imaginative, and very loving and loyal cat. Our favourite book in this collection is surprisingly Goodbye Mog, where Mog dies. Although sad, it is far from morose, and the topics of death, the afterlife, grief, loss and moving on, are dealt with sensitively and beautifully.
