2.5 stars.

I'd wondered if this was part of a series and apparently it is. I guess that explains all the loose ends.

Luna is a romance imprint so I assume this was supposed to be a romance in a zombie setting (I hadn't realized it was a Luna book when I picked it up).

But the main character spends almost all her time thinking about how awful her past was and berating herself for every mistake she's made (including becoming an addict). Sex isn't a good thing, it's a thing to be endured and ashamed of even when it's with someone she likes (the shame part, that is. It makes her feel good which makes her ashamed and leads to her thinking about her past and how she's failed at everything rinse and repeat).

It just really didn't do anything for me.
