This was a good yet scary book. The amount of pressure these students both felt from others and put on themselves is crushing. But then it also had the hallmarks of an average high school experience. I must admit some bias as a couple students went to Dartmouth, fell in love with the campus and talked about that experience. But in the end, the book asked pointed questions about what good students go through, the pressure to get into a good school at an impossibly young age and makes me thankful that my parents were nothing like some of those profiled here.
