really liked it

Just a heads up..…when starting this book make sure you don’t have anywhere you need to be or anything you need to do because you won’t want to stop reading until you’ve finished it all!! Trust me on this! The book starts off with an intriguing, unforgettable and action-packed beginning and just keeps going from there. The characters were nicely developed and completely genuine [even for being ‘inhuman’!] I liked Emma and Marie and Simon, but Preeti is great (even for being what she is). My only real complaint was that at times it seems like there was too much moving in time periods when I just prefer more ‘forward action’, and like the story dictated more through the dialogue between the characters versus the telling narrative, which while written well sometimes kept me at arm’s length from the action. But overall the pacing was good and towards the end I was turning the pages of my kindle as fast as I could, and had several “oh my God” moments. Could use better proofing/editing as there are rampant punctuation errors, but it didn’t lessen my enjoyment any. Crazy, twisted, paranormal mystery/thriller that will appeal to fans of the horror genre. Graphic content—violence and sexual, and best suited for mature readers.
