it was amazing
bookshelves: 5-star, owned-books, made-into-a-movie
Read in January, 1999

I didn't read it myself I had it read to me when I was 7 or 8 years old by my grandmother. But I still remember it like it was yesterday, it is got to be the saddest book on the planet...And then when I was 12 or so I watched the movie and it was even sadder, I cried so hard on the movie and I refuse to watch it again.

Lindsay Goto I loved this book when I was a child, but it was one of those books that I could only read once. It was so incredibly sad that even though I still have my copy somewhere, I don't want to pick it up. I've never watched the movie, so you're braver than I am.

Sam Yeah although my grandmother read it to me I would love to read it myself but I don't think I could handle it because I know exactly what happens and I don't want to cry.

The movie was pretty good but it was super sad...as you might expect.
