it was amazing

This books is really good and dystopian fans will definitely enjoy it. The story focuses heavily on the unknown, there is not so much action or society issues, but rather a constant quest for finding out why they are there and what the maze is about. Halfway through, I thought the book was a good read, but the second half with the wonderful ending makes it a really good book and I'm eager to continue to the second part.

My criticism for this book was that the characters at some times felt more like teenagers in a normal society rather than teenagers living in a dystopian world, I'm mostly thinking about how they talk, phrases they use, ect. The book also contains lots of slang words that may put off some people. I didn't mind too much though, perhaps because it made me think about the TV series Battlestar Galactica.
