"True to You" by Becky Wade is the story of Nora Bradford and John Lawson, two unique individuals who don't seem to be the likeliest of couples. She is a bookish genealogist, and he is a former Navy SEAL. When John asks Nora to help him locate his birth mother, sparks fly as they begin to work together and become friends. Soon romance begins to bloom. But a painful turn of events challenges not only their relationship but also forces them to take a good hard look at their trust in God, their true identity, their fears, and their shortcomings.

In this novel, Becky brings to life very real, flawed, and likable characters. The story is charming, funny, heart-wrenching, and redeeming. The secondary characters—Nora's sisters and co-workers, John's friend, and others—were well developed and significant. I cannot wait for Book #2 in the Bradford Sisters Romance series, so that I can check in on Nora and John and get to know the other characters better, too
