This is my second fantasy novel, the sequel to 'Shiv'. This story includes the characters from the first book, but but is centered around a merchant's daughter, one Melanie Money, who is forced to deal with a lot more than she bargained for, including a caravan guard with multiple personalities and a mercenary obsessed with revenge, not to mention monsters, thieves, and secret mission.

Although I am biased, I think the series is getting better as it progresses. The third installment, Half an Ogre, will be out soon.
