really liked it

Willow Havens is a 10 year old girl who never knew her father -- he died when her larger than life, tough as nails, mother Polly was pregnant with Willow. Polly was in her 50's at the time, with 2 adult children off on their own by the time Willow was born.

Willow is obsessed about the possible death of her mother and the fact she could be an orphan, and when Polly is unwilling to talk about her younger self, Willow takes matters into her own hands, desperate to find out more about her mother's earlier life.

A sweet, quirky, coming of age story about love and family. This one will make you smile, laugh and possibly shed a tear as well.
