Inspector Alan Grant is confined to bed on medical leave. To alleviate his boredom, he investigates one of history's great villains and, in the process, discovers that accepted history can be very misleading… This book is the reason I studied history in college and why I take even canonical historical works with a grain of salt. --Rebekka
