A strong end to this graphic novel trilogy. This installment covers Congressman John Lewis' involvement in the Civil Rights movement from the bombing at Birmingham's 16th Street Baptist Church to just after the Selma March with sprinklings of his experiences on January 20, 2009, when President Barack Obama was inaugurated as the President of the United States of America. The black and white illustrations are so precisely detailed. I love recommending this trilogy and am so looking forward to pairing it with some other texts as I continue to recommend it to teachers and students!
