it was amazing

I don't know if the entire book deserves five stars, but the last 1/3rd deserves ten, so that's what I'm going with. Most of the book is a continuation of the second, but when shit hits the fan I was enthralled. Great, amazing payoff for events that happened in the first book, along with heartbreak and genuine shock over the actions and what happens to characters that we've all come to love. I know a lot of people are so upset over events in this book that they simply stopped reading, but this is George R. R. Martin. He's relentlessly dark. You didn't have to read nearly 3,000 pages of this series to figure that out, so be prepared to cry and hang on for the rest of the ride.
