Written for children. Positive life story of Canada’s first coloured Police Chief. Moving as a child from Jamaica to the Canadian Prairies where he dreams of becoming a policeman. Encouraged by a school teacher, Devon Clunis grows up to become Winnipeg Manitoba’s Chief of Police.
Questions are posed throughout the book to inspire children to think and act positively as they read Clunis’s story. Colourful illustrations by local Manitoba Red River College art student support the story throughout.
