You can tell why this book has endured for 50 years. In his warm, direct, biblical style, John Stott has somehow written a great introduction to the Christian faith which is also quite 'meaty' and demanding at times. It's devotional theology at it's best -- shallow enough for a child to wade yet deep enough for an elephant to swim, as they say. Still relevant and excellent after 50 years.
