A required reading for my English unit. There is a strong social commentary in this dystopian novel and Collins has effectively used symbolism in her messages, but I still prefer if she didn't write it in the first-person narrative. It makes the plot so predictable and it is somewhat tedious to have to engage at the young protagonist's level throughout the book. I give it 2 stars for Collins' literary style.
