DNF at page 25

I realize, of course, that 25 pages isn't a lot, especially in a 394 page book. I didn't give this book a lot of chances. But I found it a muddled mess of mythologies. So far I've already encounter Biblical lore (Archangel Michael and the fallen angel Lucifer), Arthurian lore (Merlin and Morgana) and references to Greek mythology (Hades).

But I'm giving up because it's so badly in need of editing. There are misused words, odd punctuation, sentences that don't make sense and just stuff like the word children being used 14 times in the first two pages. This book needed outside eyes on it badly. At this point, I'm giving up and find all the detail-less five star reviews suspect.

Alexandra Oh yeah, most of those 5 star reviews look very fishy. Went down that rabbit hole, found a big mess.
