It is a story about three woman who meet while on a vacation of a lifetime to Egypt. They have all chosen to go on it for different reasons, but have chosen to go to change something in their life. There is Emma who is desperate to get pregnant and is having to deal with her parents an overbearing father and a mother who is coming down with Alzheimer's through the book. In the end she has to learn to accept what she can control and to stand up for herself. There is Hannah who is getting over her past pain in relationships and make herself into her own person. In it she must allow her care for herself and not get her worth from a man and to stand up to that part of herself. When she does that she finds someone who really loves her and all her baggage she comes with. Then there is Leonie mother of three who is trying to deal with her ex getting married and her children's new perfect stepmother trying to find love again and care for her children.
There friendship that starts on vacation stands the tests of new loves, problems with parents and children, and unexpected turns in their lives, bringing them all just closer together.

It was a good book, I enjoyed it, but over all it was really long and not amazing, not sure if I would read it again.
