really liked it
bookshelves: fantasy, ya, historical

Loved it! "Fury" gives both background and resolution to the story that began in "Silver Phoenix". The power that Ai Ling learned how to use in the first book is growing stronger, and is occasionally uncontrollable. When she stows away on the ship Chen Yong is on, things get very interesting very quickly. Pon's writing continues to be very strong on action, and some other aspects have improved. Also, enough food descriptions to make you eat Chinese food for days. Wish the cover was not a retread of Alyson Noel's Immortals series covers, with a girl who looks pretty white.
