it was amazing

I generally have a hard time reading these kinds of books as they aren't as engrossing as a novel and I love the escape of novels, but this book was very entertaining and the chapters were a little like a mini novel in that Lewis Black wove a story of his life into many of them. I was reading it by the pool many early mornings and I'm sure my neighbors thought I was just a little crazy as I was laughing out loud through a good bit of it. Profane, yes. But I feel much the same way about a lot of things and it was refreshing to know that I was not alone but in the same corner as this very funny man.

Devoutly religious people who are easily offended by irreverence shouldn't read it.
