really liked it
bookshelves: guardians-of-eternity-series, favorite, nook

In the second book of the Guardians of Eternity we spend more time with Viper. He is the chief of his clan in Chicago and a personal friend of Dante.

He stumbles upon a Shalott on the auctioning block. Once captivated by her presences, he now holds her service in his hands, literally.

Shay, who's friend is a gargoyle, was cursed by her father, or so she thought. Now that Viper "owns" her, she tells of the curse and with Viper's help, she searches for the troll that can take the curse back.

Again, this series is action packed and very funny. The gargoyle has the best lines in the whole book. Very sexy and very heart felt as the oldest and most singled vampire known falls in love.

By the way, I couldn't stop reading these!!
