It was poorly written, but as I told my husband, I wasn't reading for literary merit. Although I knew Marsha Marsha Marsha had been into drugs and suffered from a major depression after her Brady years, I didn't realize just how bad it got.

The book takes the reader from birth to now (2008 when the book pubbed). Her family was a mess from the beginning, and it is clear that all her problems cannot be blamed on being cast as the perfect Marsha Brady - although that does have a lot to do with it.

A good vacation read, with all the sex, drugs, and rock and roll (Brady style) that I wanted. I feel sort of bad for Maureen McCormick....because she still seems to be struggling in her early 50's.
