it was amazing
bookshelves: ethics, philosophy, theology, favorites
read count: 1

A very long book and very difficult to have full focus in reading all book but it's the book of long influence in human history because of Augustine theological thoughts. And this book has long explanatory views on theological ideology and Augustine explains it very well and point by point and even you agree with Augustine or not but one thing is certain that Augustine made a significant change in philosophy by adding the theological reasons in philosophy and that made him popular in throughout all the time. And that's why there is always the comparison between Augustine and Aristotle that who has more influence in human history and which one philosophy is more acceptable and has long lasting impact despite their complete differences. And now any one may like Augustine or not with any reason but he cannot deny the impact of Augustine and that is why with Augustine this book is must to read despite it length that made everyone to think twice before starting it.

And this book concerns with Christian theology and it's explanations with argument and examples and defends the theological ideas and provides the substance and detailed analysis that helps those people who admire this philosophy.
