This book was ok. I felt like the plot floated around a lot, and I was more confused after the resolutions than before. Also, none of the resolutions were very cathartic; they didn't build off of each other or add more insight to the story. It's tough to use famous historical characters successfully, and while I'm glad Rees didn't attempt to employ Mozart himself (I liked that the character was enigmatic, just as the real Mozart continues to be), I couldn't really connect to Nannerl; at times, she seemed out of place.
