really liked it

Gotta say that I've been one of those many people who have endured a love/hate relationship with RBP. It was a shock when I learned of his death and I read his last two books (Painted Ladies & Sixkill) with bittersweetness. His books haven't always been well-plotted and that's always been my gripe....but damn could he tell a story...and Spenser's voice is so unique that you can't help but turn the page, even if you already know what's on the other side.

He'll be sorely missed...good luck to Ace Atkins...large, heavy shoes to fill, brother!
