It would be fascinating to find what happened to Betty and Mahtob almost 25 years later after their daring escape from Iran. For the majority of the book, I wondered why Betty had gone to Iran with Moody, but it all became apparent after a while. It's a scary book and the restrictions imposed on people, especially women are shocking.
