did not like it
bookshelves: fiction

As usual with Dan Brown: a nicely constructed plot; loads of facts about secret societies, but that's about it: the writing is really poor, the superlatives almost make you nauseous: there are so many of them! Every building is the largest in the world, every secret society is the oldest in human history, every charcater is the best in her field of competence... The characters are sometimes so stupid, you wish you could help them understand what's actually going on. Not to mention the very approximative science behind the whole thing....

Definitely wouldn't take this book on a desert island!
