So much to love about this book, my favorite aspects are it's focus on justice and this quote about underdogs:

I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what.

Two other things about this book: 1.) It always impressed me that Bruce Willis and Demi Moore named one of their children after this book; 2.) People born after 1970 who say that seeing this movie is what inspired them to take up a career in the law I suspect are usually lying.
